Praise!! Strummer Michael Caputo was born at 4am on Christmas Eve. Please pray for him because he is currently in Jersey Shore Medical Center with Jaundice, pray that he comes home ASAP.

Emily Berardo

Emily Berardo went home to be with the Lord this morning at 6:50am. Please keep Mike, their daughters and the Bird family in your prayers. There will be a memorial service on Saturday December 27th at Manahawkin Baptist Church at 1pm (due to space issues). Thank you for all the prayers that all of you offered up over the last 18 months.

1. Emily Berardo was hospitalized this afternoon, please pray that she is not in pain. Pray for Mike and girls that they would be comforted during this tough time. Also pray for the extended family.

1 Zack Herbison (6 month old) had a successful surgery this morning!! He will be coming home this weekend. Keep him and his parents in your prayers as he heals and they spend the week at the Ronald McDonald house in Philadelphia.

1. Dave Locandro's uncle Anthony Polichemi is 79 and was just diagnosed with a brain tumor that has limited operating options. The best they are saying is 1 - 2 years.

2. Mary Ryan (Megan, Maddie Ryan & Brian Schantz's Grandmother) had a stroke and is now in the hospital. She was on life support but at her request was taken off. Please pray for complete healing.

My cousin's name is Jake Wycoff, he is 10 years old, and they found atumor on his brain stem, and found liquid around his brain on Saturday11/15/08. Because of where the tumor is they cannot remove it, becauseit is affecting his vision and might give him permanent blindness. Hehad surgery on Tuesday to drain the liquid and has a stint from his headto his stomach to allow the brain to drain. They do not know yet if thetumor is cancerous, he had an MRI and a biopsy done yesterday.

I have 2 requests for the 5 bulletin...

1. My stepmother, Mary McKenna, is having back surgery on Monday morning, they are removing her L2 disk. She herniated it and is losing strength and feeling in her leg, sp the whole thing needs to be removed.

2. My Uncle's nephew Tyler Gibbs, just turned 6 last Friday, and was recently diagnosed with a Neuroblastoma. There are 2 or 3 tumors that need to be removed, and the doctors are in the planning stages of his treatment.

2. Pray for the Monahan's missionaries to Italy. They are living in an area that has had some riots and violent killings. They are trying to preach the Gospel to these lost people.

Seaside Boardwalk

Pray for the 1500 people who recieved tracts, the roughly 400 people who recieved gospel bracelets and all the others that our group spoke with this past week at the boardwalk. Pray that God will use that experience in their lives to bing them closer to knowing Jesus.

Sorry for the lack of updates!!

1. Emily Berardo goes for Chemotherapy starting this Thursday, she will have 72 hours of treatment then have 3 weeks of recovery and then more treatment. Please pray that the Lord would heal her. Pray for Mike and the girls and the rest of the extended family.

2. Pray as we are entering into the summer, many college students will be back. Pray that we can help them grow in their faith and we can impact our community this summer.

3. This Sunday is Mothers Day...pray that our moms would come out to "The Five" and be encouraged in the Word

4. Pray for our one year anniversary, God has been good to us this past year and we are looking forward to what He has in store for the upcoming year.

Praise!!!

As some of you may already know Emily Berardo was out at "The Five" this past Sunday. It was great to see her out. The better news is that she went to the doctor yesterday and they said she does not need chemotherapy. She has gained some weight and is feeling better. Please keep praying that God would heal her.

It's been a while!!

As you know I was away for a week but now I am back with some requests and updates.

1. Continue to pray for Emily as they recieved some inconclusive results and she is not feeling well.

2. Continue to pray for Anthony as he is still having a hard time with the divorce.

3. Pray for the Sr. High youth ministry as we pepare to go on a mission trip to NYC at the end of April

4. Pray for the Easter Sunrise Service as many new people will come.

5. Pray for "Desire" our new outreach series starting March 30th. This will be a great opportunity to bring out friends and family members that need to develope a relationship with God.

Praise God for recent growth we have been having at "The Five" and pray that God will give us the wisdom and ability to meet the needs of all the people that are coming out.

Happy New Year!!

We are praying that 2008 brings great spiritual growth to "The Five" community. We have many things planned to help us grow closer to the Lord, one another and as a church.

1. Continue to pray for Emily Berardo and her health issues. Pray for her husband Mike and daughters Holly and Katie. Pray that they will be able to meet her needs and God would comfort the family at this time.

2. Pray for a friend and recent attendee of "The Five" named Anthony. He is having marital problems that looks like the end result will be divorce. He has three young boys ages 7, 4 and 1. Pray that God will work out the issues and bring this family back to where they need to be.
